lyrics
Stones in my throat,
press on my soul.
Struggling. Stumbling.
Flesh on my bones
Anxious in my role.
Leaden pit. Crawling skin.
This festering light,
I hold it to my soul
shows famine and blight.
Shows darkness.
The effort of life,
it shapes the dust here.
The flesh will alight.
I’m breathing.
Festering light,
The waters of light.
Perspicate. Salivate.
I control,
for the mind controls.
For the Eyes’ control.
Hand of my hands,
Land-spanning sands.
Callouses. Callouses.
I’m always diffuse.
Forever consumed.
Fumbling. Hopelessness.
I’m always alone.
I give you my bones,
Splintering. Splintering.
These stones in my throat.
This flesh on my bones.
Worthlessness. Loneliness.
If you're getting kind of sick of the very Black Sabbath oriented doom groups then I would recommend this band. The entire album feels very original and fresh compared to their peers. I recommend this to fans of horror films, atmospheric metal, and really any doom enthusiast. Mungo
The metal’s band revelatory new record crosses genres and styles, effortlessly combining seemingly incompatible subgenres. Bandcamp Album of the Day Apr 26, 2024
this record has zero fat. it's use of dynamics sets it apart from such labels as stoner or doom, this release is a meditation and every note has its absolute perfect place. this is expertly crafted song writing and absolutely wonderful production, easily on my AOTY list for 2020. Richard Wilhelm
